Women Empowerment

"Who will protect my girls when they get harassed on the streets,” asks a mother.
We women need to take stand .

If you want to be a woman in power, then empower other women.

Women’s safety:

Women have become the backbone of society by fulfilling various roles with ease in daily life. She is very skillfully and tenderly in various relationships, sometimes a loving daughter, sometimes a loving mother, and sometimes a capable companion.

Even so, in many places on the back of the world, they seem to be neglected by the community. Women are also more vulnerable to social inequality, oppression, financial dependency and other social oppression. From time immemorial, these restrictions on women have been a hindrance to their personal and professional development.

As many as 35% of women felt most city roads are dark, and only 7% felt that their cities had seamless footpaths.90% of women used public transport like buses, trains and on-demand taxis, despite over 80% claiming that they felt somewhat safe using it during the day, but not at night. Other reasons were coverage, frequency, safety and comfort.

The Art of Living has launched women empowerment programs that will lead to self esteem, internal strength and constructive development for women of different levels in the society in order to give women respect in the society. With these programs, women are now looking to overcome all problems and advance their skills, confidence and utility. Appear to represent peace and positive social change in our family, for other women, and in society.

The Women's Empowerment Program of the Art of Living has made women abroad economically independent, Which has raised the bar against social injustice. These women are working to educate and empower other women by becoming representative of positive change, making them gain their identity. They have received a platform through the Art of Living's Women Empowerment Program. Wherever inspired, those generations can achieve equality by tending to the bonds of generation, inequality in all spheres. Drought-stricken Delegates received water for some success stories of women empowerment programs across India. Three volunteers of Art of Living started a seven-day program to provide water supply to the families of the village.

If women are to be freed from social inequality, domestic violence, oppression and financial dependence, there is a need for women's empowerment. First, women need to be sure that we are capable. Never dwell on the fact that you are a woman. When you become self-absorbed, you lose energy, enthusiasm and strength The spiritual path is the only way you can overcome self-doubt and guilt. In both self-esteem and guilt, you experience the smallness of your mind - which leads you away from your soul. Stop blaming yourself and start praising yourself.'Praising is a divine virtue, huh? Do not even think that I am a woman. Do not even think that it is boiling. Nothing will happen because of this internal inequality. Stand up, the strength you need to gain your authority. Certainly society must change but you cannot make this change by being self-deprecating.

Anganwadi Group

The anganwadi sevikas issue where women working with Anganwadi groups were deprived of the job due to stay order and constant delay was taken up by Deepstambh parabhani with the honourable CM of Maharashtra and put to rest with the hundreds of women benefitting from this is in jintur and sailu. Anganvadi sevikas applauded this effort.

SELF HELP GROUPS

Various self help groups were promoted within the constituency to bring self reliance for the housewives in the constituency. Constant efforts in this area have helped many women who are not depending on the families for bringing prosperity to the houses.

OTHER CRITICAL WOMEN ORIENTED INTIATIVES

Agitation at the women's health department to provide better water and sanitation facility for women. Education about hygiene, etc to girls in school and college.

Challenge

According to the survey of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan 2013-14, 13.20 lakh children of 6-14 age group leave school every year in Maharashtra state because these students have to face all sorts of problems to get educated. Due to the pathetic conditions of deprived families, their guardians are not able to afford their school spending because of which intelligent and ambitious students get miles away from the school education.

Long-Term Impact

This project aimed to investigate how empowerment of girls through this programme may improve earnings and living conditions via the influence on aspirations as they filter into the society at the local level. We wanted to investigate under what conditions better opportunities may lead to more gender equality.

Vision

Confidence and empowerment are cousins in my opinion , My interest is not data, it’s the world. And part of world development you can see in the numbers.

We need to empower women. Give women a voice in the decision-making process. Give women a political voice where they can champion, for their own welfare. And, of course, for us.

If you economically empower a woman, she represents enormous opportunity that can actually be transformative not only for her family and for her community.

I work in areas related to child protection and family safety, women’s empowerment, the creation of opportunities for youth.

“Giving women education, work, the ability to control their own income, inherit and own property, benefits the society. If a woman is empowered, her children and her family will be better off. If families prosper, the village prospers, and eventually so does the whole country.”

Technology is one of the key drivers of female economic empowerment :
